On This Day, 28 Years Ago….

Today should be a national holiday recognized across the world . If I have it my way, one day it will be. Today is my birthday. 28 years ago I was introduced into this world .The time was 245pm. The place Cambridge, Massachusetts.

I was chillin’, minding my own business and practicing my kickboxing. With my eyes closed of course. Suddenly I felt lights against my eyelids and then I was literally yanked out of my comfort zone. Next, the doctor smacked my butt. I didn’t appreciate it so I pee’d on him as a result. Ok, I’m not sure about that part, but it would have been funny. Anyway,  it was a traumatizing experience that I don’t remember. The good news is that the world has been a better place since Wednesday, August 25th 1982.

It is my 28th birthday so I guess my28cents.com is  finally official. I just want to thank all of you for the support over the past couple of months. Before I signed off I was going to list several things I learned a long the way. However, I decided to save that for another day. Instead I will leave you with this one thing.

Some people will love you and others will love to hate you. Unfortunately, that is the way of the world. Focus your energy on the people that love you and forget everyone else. Haters are like evil spirits. They can’t get to you if you don’t pay them any attention.

Happy Birthday to me, B*tches  (sorry, someone made me say it)!
